No 1 Bio

I have been interested in website design, and a lot of things generally nerdy and computer-related for a long time. Now that I'm retired I can spend more time doing the things I enjoy.

This includes many things computer-related, such as website design and development, software-defined radio (SDR), mobile technology, photo editing, and dabbling in all three major operating systems — Windows, Mac OS X, and various Linux distributions. In addition, I have a General class HAM radio license.

I have been developing websites since 2005 and since that time I have endeavored to keep up with the ever-changing trends and technologies.

My first paid gig was the site for the Village Gun Store back in 2007 and it has been through several iterations. A few clients have come and gone, most notably a site for an academic publication for a professor from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy. The portfolio of websites I currently have developed and for which I provide hosting and maintenance are shown on the home page.

Serving the St. Johnsbury, Vermont area exclusively.

In addition to developing your website, I can provide hosting and ongoing maintenance. This maintenance includes occasional updates and corrections of the information on your website and any bug fixes or minor tweaks that may arise. And, at my discretion, you may get a complete website redesign — at no additional charge — if I decide your site looks a little dated or some new system comes along that use. For example, the Village Gun Store's website is on its fourth iteration.

Whether I host your site or not, I will install your website on a server, connect it to your domain name, register it with the major search engines, and perform fundamental search engine optimization.
